Citizen 7201e
Reliability and ease-of-use as standard.
A Citizen tradition has been its Hi-Lift? clamshell mechanisms. Often
emulated (but never bettered) our engineers developed a newer and even simpler
system whilst maintaining an all-metal construction to make sure the printer is
reliable and precise.
The printhead can be raised wide open for easy cleaning and servicing and
media loading. The cleverly designed media arm helps media loading and on the
CLP 7201e model, it includes an adjustable media sensor. The CLP 7202e has a
high-resolution fixed media sensor.
The colour-coded operator levers within the printer are designed to make
media loading incredibly simple and fool-proof.
LCD Control Panel
Users have no need to wonder whether the printer is correctly set-up and
ready to print. The LCD control panel displays easy-to-understand messages about
the status of the printer.
Perfect print quality
Citizen's unique ARCP? system - Active Ribbon Control & Positioning -
means that you print is perfect every time:
- No Ribbon Wrinkling even with unusual media and it removes any wrinkles
introduced during ribbon loading quickly.
- Accurate print positioning and improved 'registration', especially useful
for small labels like rating plates or jewelry tags.
- No slippage between ribbon and media with glossy or specialist media
types.
Standard Connectivity: Parallel, Serial and USB.
Its also inevitable that a label printer must be able to connect to all types
of computer systems. Traditional serial and parallel ports are still very
popular in the market as are the newer USB, high-speed parallel and, of course,
Ethernet and Wireless LAN.
- Parallel IEEE1284 as standard
- RS232C serial as standard up to 115,000 bps
- USB as standard
The Ethernet and Wireless LAN boards can be installed in minutes. As they are
internal options, there is no concern that they can get broken or damaged and
they do not increase the printer's footprint either.
