ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN

EMBEDDED SOFTWARE DEVELOPER
Looking for an experienced Embedded Software Developer to join the team at their Manchester offices working on the next generation of Windows CE and ARM powered terminals and associated peripherals.
Applicants must have several years experience in embedded software and firmware development in both C and C++, for micro controllers and 32 bit processors running multitasking operating systems. WIN32 API and multi-threaded programming experience and an understanding of hardware and circuit diagrams are essential. Experience of CE, Platform Builder and drivers will be a distinct advantage.
The successful applicant must be self motivated and able to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team. They will be able to develop software and drivers from concept through their full product life cycle and also be willing to maintain existing software and platforms.
EMBEDDED HARDWARE/SOFTWARE ENGINEER
Looking for an experienced Embedded Engineer to join the team at their Bradford offices working on the next generation of Windows CE and ARM powered terminals and associated peripherals.
Applicants should have experience of both Hardware and Embedded Software.
Several years experience is required in designing 32 bit embedded systems running multitasking operating systems as well as micro controllers. Applicants will have experience of schematic capture, PCB layout, analogue design, power supplies and battery charging circuits, communication technologies, design for manufacture and CE EMC certification. Experience of CPLDs and RF/antenna experience would be an advantage.
